Toilet Leak Alert has been designed to identify and isolate the vibration signature of your toilet’s normal flush cycle. When Toilet Leak Alert detects the abnormal cycle caused by a leaking flapper it notifies you that an issue is present via these updates:
Toilet Leak Alert flashes GREEN: The unit is functioning properly.
Toilet Leak Alert flashes RED: The toilet is leaking and requires attention. The unit will also beep to notify you of a leak.
When the unit’s battery is low, the Yellow light will flash. Because the unit is sealed, we replace the entire unit after a year or so when the light indicates. The replacement cost is only $9, including shipping, which is about the price of new batteries. We recycle the plastic and internal components.
Installing the unit cant be easier. First, make sure the toilet lid is down to prevent accidentally dropping the unit into the bowl.
Peel off the protective backing.
Press the unit onto the outside surface of the tank.
After attaching the unit to the tank, Remove the Battery Activation tab.
The green lamp will flash and you will hear three beeps.
When the red lamp turns on, Flush the toilet.
